The Nuclear Theory Group at Brookhaven National Laboratory is a world leader in High Energy Nuclear Physics. We have a vigorous research program, aimed at understanding the fundamental structure of matter. We maintain a synergy with the experimental program at RHIC; with the research done by RIKEN-BNL Center; and with the Lattice Gauge Theory and High Energy Theory Groups.
